*Students are welcome to stay until noon to help clean up the band room*
Friday’s Performance for Teachers
This Friday we will be continuing our tradition of playing for the teachers on their last day of pre-planning! This is a very important performance, and all students are required to attend! Call time is 8:45am in orange band t-shirt, solid black shorts, & athletic shoes/socks. The performance will conclude around 9:45am & at that point, students are welcome to stay until noon to help Mr. & Mrs. Martin clean & organize the band room for the first day of school.

First Day of School
We are looking forward to welcoming all students back to The Nest on Monday, August 14th! Students Will not need their instruments on the first day of school but will need them on TUESDAY, AUGUST 15th! We will assign band lockers on Monday & the band room will be open for all students by 8am each morning.
Please note that marching band practices will begin this week! Here is our weekly schedule for marching band:
• Tuesdays 5-8pm
• Wednesdays (Drumline & Front Ensemble ONLY) 3-5pm
• Thursdays 4-6:30pm
*After school rehearsals are summative assessments so attendance is required at EVERY rehearsal*
First Parent Meeting of the Year!
Our first parent meeting of the year will be Tuesday, August 15th at 7pm in the Band Room. This is the best way to keep up with the program and to get involved!
