For years, this program has been a model for high school band programs in the state of Florida and throughout the country. In fact, the Music Programs at Spruce Creek High School were recognized as a 2004-2007 “Music Demonstration School” by the Florida Department of Education.
The Band Program forms an important part of the total high school experience. The Band represents a large, diverse, and highly disciplined segment of the school. A great deal of color and life is added to the Spruce Creek community through performances of the band at sporting events, concerts, parades, and other community outreach events.
