For years, this program has been a model for high school band programs in the state of Florida and throughout the country. In fact, the music programs at Spruce Creek High School were recognized as a 2004-2007 “Music Demonstration School” by the Florida Department of Education.
The Band Program forms an important part of the total high school experience. The Band represents a large, diverse, and highly disciplined segment of the school. A great deal of color and life is added to the Spruce Creek community through performances of the band at sporting events, concerts, parades, and other community outreach events.
Hello Hawk Family!
I am excited to announce that we have a new director joining us this year! Mr. Martin will serve as the Director of Jazz Bands and IB Music, as well as Co-Director of the Concert Bands and High Steppin’ Hawks Marching Band.
This is obviously a unique and special opportunity for our program, and Mr. Martin and I look forward to continuing our program’s tradition of excellence for many years to come!
It’s a Great Day to be a Hawk!
